This program uses a cohort approach for scheduling. Teacher Leader and Literacy Specialist candidates must begin the program in a summer semester and follow it through the sequential semesters. Students unable to do so would have to wait an entire year to pick up classes missed during a specific term. Priority application date is May 1 for the summer semester start. Applications submitted after this date will be considered on a space available basis. Classes for the summer semester will begin after Derby.
