Group Therapy Offerings Spring 2024
Group therapy is a valuable tool for helping people with a variety of presenting concerns. Group therapy can offer a space to get support, feel understood, receive feedback, develop new coping skills, enhance social skills and help support other members along the way. This semester we are offering the following groups:
How do I sign up?
- If you are already in therapy, speak with your counselor and they can refer you to the group. Then the group co-leader will contact you with more information.
- If you only want to participate in a group, please contact the Counseling Center by emailing us counselingcenter@bellarmine.edu or calling the main Counseling Center number (502.272.8480) to schedule a consultation appointment and to find out more about the group.
What about confidentiality?
Group members are expected to maintain the confidence of other participants. Group members can discuss their own, personal experience of the group with others, but should not disclose names of people who also attend the group with them or anything that other members have shared in group.
Where are the groups located?
Most groups are held in-person at the Counseling Center (Treece Hall, Suite 225). The group leaders will provide specific information about location and time.
