Edinger-Westphal nucleus
- the parasympathetic (general visceral efferent-GVE) nucleus for the oculomotor nerve. Preganglionic fibers arising from this nucleus terminate in the ciliary ganglion. Post-ganglionic fibers from the ciliary ganglion innervate the sphincter pupillae and ciliary muscles.
