Globose nucleus
- along with the emboliform nucleus (interposed nuclei),
is the deep cerebellar nucleus associated with the spinocerebellum.
Efferent projections from the interposed nuclei influence the
corticospinal tracts via the ventrolateral thalamic nuclei. Input
to the interposed nuclei is from spinocerebellar afferents through
the intermediate hemispheres of the cerebellum.
