Bellarmine receives $105,000 grant to expand adolescent mental health workforce

Bellarmine University has received a $105,000 grant from the Jewish Heritage Fund to expand its new Master of Science in Clinical Psychology program and improve adolescent mental health care in Louisville and across Kentucky. The funding will provide student fellowships to offset unpaid clinical training, increase access to the program, and support a community event focused on youth voices and mental health advocacy. Launched in fall 2025, the program aims to address the growing shortage of mental health providers by training clinicians with a focus on culturally responsive care and community impact.
