Singer/pianist Sara Bareilles, who is currently topping the charts with "Love Song," will perform at Bellarmine on April 18, as the featured performer at the university's annual "Hillside Concert." The outdoor concert, which will also include performances by Raining Jane and Rachel Yamagata, is already a sellout.
The performance will begin at 6 p.m. in the parking lot directly behind Bellarmine's Sport, Recreation and Fitness (SRF) Center. Blankets and chairs are allowed but no outside coolers or beverages will be permitted on the premises.
Because of multiple events on campus that evening, concert goers are asked to park in the lots in front of Horrigan Hall (directional signs will be posted on campus). Parking is free and a shuttle bus will be available.
The Hillside Concert is a spring tradition at Bellarmine, named because the original concert was held in the natural amphitheatre on the hillside behind the Brown Activities Center. Past performers include Bowling for Soup, Live, Josh Gracin, Vertical Horizon, and Blessid Union of Souls.
