Bellarmine University will welcome new and returning students to campus for the 2017-18 academic year with the college's annual Sparks at Knight fireworks show on Saturday, August 26.
The fireworks display, featuring approximately 300 shells, takes place around 9:30 p.m. Bellarmine's neighbors are invited to join students for the show on the hill behind the University Dining Hall (building 5c on the
campus map).
The first day of classes at Bellarmine is Thursday, August 24. This year, Bellarmine will educate approximately 4,000 undergraduate and graduate students, including 699 freshmen who are part of the second-largest entering class in the university's history. The freshmen come to Bellarmine from 27 states - plus Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico - and 5 other nations, and 68 percent of them will live on campus.
