Barrier-Free Admission and Scholarships for Louisville-Area Students
Bellarmine Direct offers automatic admission and scholarships to qualified Louisville high school graduates, making higher education more affordable and accessible. Students with at least a 2.75 GPA from Louisville public and private high schools can apply through a simple, no-cost, online form. Once a transcript is received, students are automatically admitted and awarded a minimum scholarship of $19,000.
After completing the FAFSA, students will receive a personalized financial aid package that may cover full tuition, demonstrating that a Bellarmine education is competitively priced—and can even be free.
This initiative aims to keep top talent in Louisville, where 70% of Bellarmine graduates remain, contributing to the local economy. Bellarmine graduates earn 19% more than the average Kentucky bachelor’s degree holder three years after graduation.
Students from Archdiocesan schools with at least a 3.0 GPA receive additional scholarships. Those with a GPA below 2.75 are encouraged to apply through the standard admission process, with potential options for provisional admission.
