Are you a junior and interested in exploring Bellarmine’s numerous health professions programs? Do you enjoy learning from dynamic faculty members? Bellarmine is offering two discounted classes this summer for HOSA students. We invite you to take one or both courses:

Explore a wide variety of health careers in our Introduction to Health Professions course.

HLTH 110 Introduction to Health Professions: This course is designed to provide students who are interested in a career in healthcare with information about the diverse contributions of health professionals. Topics will include healthcare delivery and education requirements, and professional responsibilities for various healthcare professions. The cost for this one-credit hour course for HOSA students is $200.

Expand your medical terminology.

HLTH 120 Medical Terminology: Study of word derivation and formation with emphasis upon the understanding of common usage in the field of healthcare. This course is only offered in an online delivery format. The cost for this three-credit hour course for HOSA students is $600.

We are excited to have you join our Bellarmine community this fall. If you want to get a jumpstart at Bellarmine, there are several health-related courses offered this summer. Our HLTH 120 Medical Terminology course will help you build your medical terminology. Students enrolled in HLTH 110 Introduction to Health Professions have the opportunity to explore a variety of health professions.
