Tuition and Fees for 2018-2019

Dear Bellarmine Students,

This letter is to notify you of the increase in tuition and fees for the 2018-19 academic year. As a community, we have worked diligently to continue to increase the value of the Bellarmine degree while keeping costs to a minimum. We understand and appreciate the sacrifice that you, our undergraduate and graduate students, and your families are making. We do not take these sacrifices for granted.

Our efforts provide a rigorous liberal arts education, nationally ranked and accredited academic programs, community service opportunities, campus ministry, study abroad experiences, clinical rotations, science and medical laboratories, experiential learning, the fine arts, student leadership, athletics and recreational opportunities. Through these experiences, we encourage you, our bright and talented students, to aim even higher with your aspirations and achievements. We have invested in improving our career services, internships and alumni networking. We proudly boast that 98% of our undergraduate students are employed or in graduate school within six months of graduation and 91% are working in the profession in which they prepared to enter. Bellarmine graduates’ mid-career earnings are 16% higher than similar institutions nationally and number 1 among all Kentucky public and private institutions in a 2015 Brookings study.

We remain strident in our efforts toward even greater excellence and are embarking on a strategic planning effort, which when completed, will set the course of the university for the next five to seven years. We encourage your input into this important institutional initiative.

As president, I have had numerous occasions to witness your gratitude to our faculty and staff for the educational experiences inside and outside of the classroom. We will continue to: recruit and retain excellent faculty and staff, develop new and unique educational opportunities, foster an engaging learning environment, and mentor you to meet your personal and professional aspirations. We know that your investment in this Bellarmine education will provide an exceptionally high return throughout your career and will inspire you throughout your lifetime.
