Don’t judge affordability by a university's official tuition price! Bellarmine offers generous scholarships and many other financial-aid options that you may not find elsewhere. After scholarships and financial aid, your actual out-of-pocket expenses
will often compete with the other schools you may be considering. And if you have a strong academic record, you’ll be amazed at how much you can save.
We are saddened to see state college tuition prices going up. We believe public universities ought to be affordable for everyone. But the unfortunate truth is, public school in-state tuition is inching toward the cost of tuition at private colleges. The
cost of room and board at some schools is upwards of $20,000 these days. Bellarmine’s Public Price Promise grants qualifying students the opportunity to attend Bellarmine by matching the overall cost of their state’s flagship university. If a large, public school is a good fit for you there are great ones all over our region. But if you think
a smaller, private school would help you thrive, compare the prices, value and outcomes. You might be surprised by what you’ll learn.
Every admitted student receives some form of institutional aid.
The university’s Hope Kentucky Scholars Program is
a commitment to making college possible for talented Kentucky students who might otherwise not pursue a degree. Kentucky high school graduates who have a financial barrier for attending college, based on their Federal Pell Grant status, can have
100% of their tuition and fees covered with this scholarship at Bellarmine.
Students may be eligible for other the many other Bellarmine scholarships and grants,
as well. Every admitted student receives some form of institutional aid. The average total award is $28,000. There are programs like the Jefferson to Bellarmine “2BU” Transfer Program which make Bellarmine affordable for transfer students, too.
