The Bellarmine MBA is uniquely collaborative, team-based program that emphasizes networking.
Customization and adaptability take precedence and allow students to specialize in Finance, Management, Analytics, Marketing and Innovation. That means each graduate earns a credential that stands out and tells a story about their unique interests
and qualifications.
“The Bellarmine MBA complements any undergraduate degree,” said MBA Director Frank Raymond. “The MBA is helpful to students with no previous academic training in a business field. It fills in gaps in training or practical experience,
helping business leaders to become more effective managers. In addition, students with undergraduate degrees in business fields such as accounting, marketing or finance can use the MBA to hone these skills and to become a more effective leader.”
Tradition and transformation
Bellarmine's cohort style, team-based approach is a modern take on the time-tested value of an MBA. Students in our program - your cohort peers - are some of the most well-connected, aspiring business leaders in the region. Our innovative approach empowers
students to explore their interests, and develop powerful networking connections, without losing any of the benefits of a more traditional program.
In addition to creating connections with emerging leaders, students in this program learn from and build relationships with experts and innovators in tune with the local and national trends.
Our faculty is comprised of experienced academic professionals as well as the corporate executives shaping today’s business
landscape. Whether they’re looking for expertise in the boardroom or the classroom, Bellarmine MBA students get quality instruction with connections to local business leaders.
“The BU MBA is at its core, student-focused,” Raymond said. “Students who enroll in our program join a close community of students, faculty, alumni and the many Bellarmine connections within the business community.”
Accreditation from the
Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) also sets this MBA program apart, not just in the region but around the world.
The W. Fielding Rubel School of Business AACSB status makes Bellarmine the first and only private university in Kentucky to achieve this accreditation, placing it among the most elite business schools in the nation. Worldwide, fewer than 5 percent
of business schools have been granted this distinction by the AACSB.
An MBA that works for you
Bellarmine’s MBA allows students to apply for the program that best suits their needs and their professional experience. The weeknight MBA moves at a traditional pace, allowing students to finish their degree in 22 months. Those in the accelerated
weekend program can earn their MBA in 16 months. Those with a significant amount of management and other leadership experience can complete the degree in as little as 12 months.
Class times and delivery methods are optimized for the most effective and efficient learning, with convenience in mind for the working professional.
Classes meet on weeknight evenings or alternating weekends and are offered online and in person.
MBA students take courses in organizational behavior, leadership and strategy and can then choose an emphasis in Finance, Management, Marketing or Innovation to specialize their credential. Bellarmine MBA graduates complete their studies with a transcript
and skillset that will equip them to meet the evolving needs of their field.
Pursuing an MBA at a university with a liberal-arts tradition is an opportunity build on competencies in technology and innovation with critical thinking, problem-solving and excellent communication skills. Bellarmine’s Catholic tradition and social
justice mission challenges graduates to explore transformative social innovation—using their skills to create a positive impact in their community.

Time to take the next step
The Rubel School of Business is now enrolling students for the fall semester, and with Bellarmine’s new HyFlex courses, there’s never been a more convenient time to earn an MBA. At Bellarmine, students are empowered to earn a credential as
unique in the program that’s right for them.
Under the new direction of dean Natasha Vijay Munshi, more specialization and innovation is a certainty. In a conversation with Bellarmine Magazine about her vision for the program’s future, she said, “I anticipate new permutations of players
and partnerships emerging in higher education. As such, I envision less rigidity in when, where and how education is consumed; “stackables” and modularized learning will only become more accessible.”
