It’s the holiday season (whoop-de-do and hickory dock), and all the Bellarmine fans on your list have been awesome this year and deserve stellar stocking stuffers.
Not to fear, Bellarmine has you covered. The Knights have plenty of gift options perfect for everyone on your list, whether they’re a new student, a longtime alum or someone else with great taste. We’ve got something for everyone.
BU branded warmies
Our campus bookstore offers a great shopping experience online and in person. There’s a wide selection of branded items, and usually some good sales.
On campus, when you walk in the door, there’s a large display of apparel for the winter season – fuzzy socks, toboggans, mittens, etc. – perfect items to keep your loved ones warm and cozy. While there, add a Bellarmine ornament to attach to the top of your gift for that extra touch.
You can easily find the bookstore on the bottom level of Centro, the main building on campus. There is visitor parking in front. Click here for a campus map. This year, the bookstore is open daily until 5 p.m., Dec. 21.
Or, if leaving the comfort of home is bothersome, shop the bookstore online.
Get your game on
Surely you’ve heard the good news, lest you’ve been under a rock. Bellarmine moved to NCAA Division I two years ago, and now our men’s and women’s basketball teams play in iconic Freedom Hall. Bellarmine faces steep competition throughout the season, making for an exciting fan experience.
For 2022-23, you can get single-game or season tickets for women's and men's games. Click here to purchase.
Athletics has planned numerous special game nights, including Pack the Hall Night. Check the schedule to see what would make the perfect outing for your loved one. Click here for the men’s schedule and here for the women’s schedule.
Never stop learning
If you’ve got someone in your life who values experiences or knowledge over store-bought stuff, we’ve got some great options. Our School of Continuing and Professional Studies offers non-credit programs, where you can learn a skill or trade, such as software development with Code Lou @ BU. Or, you can take online classes in subjects that range from Spanish to Health and Fitness.
An especially cool program is the Veritas Society, which offers classes for Louisvillians 54 and older. The classes range from Tai Chi and wine tasting to art and literature. Click here to see how you can get your loved one involved.
Happy shopping and even happier holidays, fellow Knights! Swords Up!
