The W. Fielding Rubel School of Business welcomed the second cohort of students to its Kroger Emerging Leaders Certificate program this month.

The 10 participants in the Executive Education program will engage in 10 half-day sessions led by expert instructors in topics including creative problem-solving, conflict resolution, negotiation, financial valuation and data analysis. The program will
conclude on May 17, 2023.
“The Rubel School of Business is excited to continue to develop the next generation of leaders at Kroger through tailored skills training,” said Jorge Pazmino, director of Graduate and Executive Education Programs for the Rubel School. “The
second cohort of leaders will gain amazing skills and competencies boosting individual careers in a vital industry. The Kroger Emerging Leaders Program is a great example of transformational employee development, and we are fortunate to help Kroger
in continuing to be a market leader who invests not only within their company but also our community.”
The Kroger Emerging Leaders Certificate was developed in coordination with Kroger. Ann Reed, Kroger Louisville Division president, is a member of the Rubel School of Business Executive Board. The inaugural participants graduated from the program on May
11, 2022.
Kroger selected the 2022-23 cohort from across the division based on aptitude, leadership potential and initiative. They are:
