February is almost here, bringing the excitement of busy students and the warmer weather associated with the spring semester. There’s nothing like the anticipation of Bellarmine’s Homecoming Week, organized by the Bellarmine Activities Council and taking place from February 10 to 15, 2025. This event enhances school spirit and is a fun way to honor the traditions of Bellarmine and its students.

The Homecoming Dance
While it’s true that sprawling venues and sparkling outfits certainly highlight Bellarmine's annual Homecoming Dance, the true excitement comes from the people. This event is an excellent opportunity to connect with classmates. This year, the dance will be held at Ice House on February 14, 2025—Valentine's Day—making this year's celebration one you won't want to miss.

Homecoming Game + Knight of Honor
Bellarmine’s Homecoming highlights the student experience in many ways, one of the most notable being Knight of Honor. After sorting through applicants, interviews with a panel of alumni, and a vote, two outstanding Bellarmine seniors are chosen to be knighted during halftime. As Bellarmine’s Director of Student Activities Elaine Hartlage puts it, the tradition is “a really cool way to honor our seniors.”
If you want to watch two students get knighted and see our basketball teams in action, this year’s Homecoming will be at Knights Hall on Saturday, February 15, 2025. Tickets and event details are available here.
Late Knight Bingo
If you haven’t been to this iconic event before, imagine a typical bingo hall experience dialed to 100. While the rules are relatively similar, the execution of Late Knight Bingo is unique to Bellarmine. The prizes are won through an odd combination of luck and speed. Wielding bingo cards and colorful daubers with surprising competitiveness, students who score shout “BINGO!” and sprint to the prize table to get first dibs.
