October 25, 2006

The Bellarmine University Master of Arts in Spirituality (MAS) program will host an open house/ information session on Thursday, Nov. 16, at 7 p.m. in the Thomas Merton Center on the Bellarmine campus. The open house will offer prospective students the opportunity to gain more information about the program.

Bellarmine University and the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary (LPTS) team up to offer this unique master of arts in spirituality degree. The program features ecumenical collaboration, an international study component, and integrated seminars. It is designed to be attractive to students of all Christian faiths wishing to attend to the “unfinished business” of pursuing a deeper sense of spirituality while also serving the needs of students seeking professional development.

Offered in a cohort model over a two year period, the 30 graduate credits degree program admits new 12-student cohorts each June. Courses are taught by faculty from the Theology Department at Bellarmine University and from LPTS; courses meet on both campuses, located just two miles apart.
