The Bellarmine University Rubel School of Business will honor Ralph G. Gronefeld, Jr., ¬as its 2007 Accounting Alumnus of the Year at the school’s 23rd Annual Accounting Alumni Luncheon on Thursday, Sept. 20.
The luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. in Frazier Hall on Bellarmine’s campus. In addition to recognizing the accounting alumnus of the year, the luncheon will provide a forum to introduce accounting scholarship recipients and allow Bellarmine accounting graduates to network and get reacquainted with Bellarmine’s accounting program.
Gronefeld, who graduated from Bellarmine in 1981, now serves as president and chief executive officer of ResCare, a Louisville-based, publicly-traded human services company. He joined ResCare in 1995 as director of internal audit and has held a variety positions since that time. Prior to his service to ResCare, Gronefeld served as president of Total Color, a Louisville graphic arts firm.
