Bellarmine University’s W. Fielding Rubel School of Business is pleased to announce two significant accomplishments. The business school has been selected for inclusion in the 2009 edition of "Best Business Schools," to be published by the Princeton Review and Random House. Also, Educational Testing Service (ETS) has released the results of its fall 2007 business-school testing, and Bellarmine students scored in the 95th percentile, which is ETS' highest level.
Best Business Schools is modeled after the Princeton Review’s flagship publication, The Best 366 Colleges (in which Bellarmine is listed). The business publication will offer readers unique school profiles and rankings based on student opinion on a variety of topics ranging from academic offerings to job placement.
ETS is a nonprofit institution with the mission to advance quality and equity in education by providing fair and valid assessments, research and related services for all people worldwide. The tests in major fields such as business are undergraduate- and graduate-level assessments designed to measure student academic achievement at the conclusion of major study. The business major field test covered nine different areas: accounting, economics, management, quantitative, finance, marketing, legal, information systems, and international. Bellarmine students scored in the 95th percentile, which is the highest, in seven of the nine areas.
The mission of the W. Fielding Rubel School of Business is to provide student-centered, quality education in the Catholic liberal arts tradition at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The Rubel School is noted for rapidly incorporating innovations and business trends into the curriculum.
