LOUISVILLE, Ky. (April 26, 2010) -- The 2010 "Best Student Employer" award from the Bellarmine University Career Development office goes to a project management team in information systems at Kindred Healthcare. The award, presented during a luncheon on Friday, April 23, honors the recipients for providing excellent support and learning opportunities to a student intern. Bellarmine junior, Aaron Yocum, a business major, nominated Rob Wileman, Ted Veterano and Bruce Lukat for the award.
This is the fourth year the Bellarmine University Career Development office has handed out awards recognizing companies and individuals for their commitment to student intern success.
Other nominees were:
-Leigh Pittman of the Brown Forman Management Center of Excellence. Nominated by junior Rachel Ringrose, a psychology major.
-Jim Riggs of CED, E&H Electrical. Nominated by senior Abby Hall, a business administration major.
-Ron and Mel Fisher of Clear Channel Communications, WHAS. Nominated by junior Allison Riggs, a communication major.
-Katherine Adams, Kindred Healthcare. Nominated by junior Staci Campton, a psychology major.
-Heather Spurlock, Carrie Dupin, and Melissa Oluwajuyemi of Texas Roadhouse. Nominated by junior Kristina Dalton, an accounting major.
