April 22 event includes local singer-songwriter Justin Paul Lewis
Elle King will perform at Bellarmine University’s annual Hillside concert on Friday, April 22, at 7:30 p.m.
King is a 26-year-old singer-songwriter and guitar player whose official bio describes her as a “frank and fearless, tender and rowdy” musician who is a “pop force to be reckoned with.” Her music spans the genres of rock, blues, country and pop.
Her 2015 debut album, “Love Stuff” includes “Ex’s and Oh’s,” a top 10 single that was nominated for two Grammy awards earlier this year. King has recorded with producers such as Jeff Bhasker (Fun, Kanye West), Eg White (Adele, Sam Smith) and Jacknife Lee (R.E.M., U2).
