Bellarmine University's provost, Dr. Carole Pfeffer, has announced the appointment of Dr. Pamela G. Cartor to the position of interim associate dean for
Bellarmine College of Arts and Sciences, effective June 1, 2018.

Cartor, an associate professor of psychology, has been a member of Bellarmine's faculty since 1994. Since 2010, she has served as chair of the psychology, sociology and criminal justice studies programs.
She became a licensed psychologist in Kentucky in 1995, with clinical experience in Bellarmine's counseling center and in private practice.
Pfeffer noted that Cartor has been active in university service and shared governance in ways that will serve her well in her new position, most recently as chair of the Undergraduate Education Affairs Committee and a member of the Faculty Council's Coordinating Committee and Faculty Compensation Committee.
In Bellarmine College, Cartor will work alongside Dr. Mary Huff, interim dean, and Laura Hartford, associate dean.
Cartor holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Stetson University and a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the University of Tennessee.
