Joe Frazier, the new director of Bellarmine University's office of
identity and inclusion, discusses his goals on this week's Bellarmine Magazine podcast,
The Pineapple.
“We talk about identity groups who are underrepresented, who are sometimes overshadowed, who are marginalized in terms of academia today,” said Frazier.
Frazier's office serves as advocates on behalf of underrepresented student populations, while promoting diversity and encouraging Bellarmine community members to challenge their own personal narratives.
One of Frazier's projects will be seeking feedback from students who left Bellarmine before graduation or decided not to consider attending Bellarmine. This information could help the university attract and retain more of these students.
The Pineapple is a podcast produced by Bellarmine Magazine that provides listeners with exclusive content from the Bellarmine community.
