Building on Bellarmine’s strong partnership with Jefferson County Public Schools, the university is offering a tuition discount for eligible JCPS educators on select master’s and doctoral degrees. This discount makes the BU programs some of
the most affordable in the region.
Students will receive a 20 percent discount on tuition for most master’s programs and a 15 percent discount on doctoral programs. All books and materials are included at no additional expense.

The School of Education programs eligible for the discount (with adjusted rates listed below) are:
Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) ($555 per credit hour)
Elementary education
Middle school education
Secondary education
Master of Arts in Education (MAED) & Rank 1 programs ($350 per credit hour)
Teacher Leader (Trauma-informed practices cognate, STEAM Education cognate)
Literacy Specialist
Instructional Leadership and School Administration
Rank 1 Curriculum & Instruction
Education Specialist (EdS) ($350 per credit hour)
Instructional Leadership and School Administration
Master of Education (MEd) ($555 per credit hour)
Higher Education Leadership & Social Justice
Doctoral Programs ($750 per credit hour)
Ph.D. in Education and Social Change
Ph.D. in Higher Education Leadership
EdD in District Leadership (can lead to superintendent endorsement)
