Student gleams joyfully at a computer screen

The minor in digital media allows students to grow and experience the broad spectrum of digital culture through various forms of digitality, production and media. This program teaches students to utilize and familiarize themselves with contemporary modes of workplace communication such as social media, graphic design, video production and radio broadcasts. Students in the digital media minor will enjoy hands-on learning in a variety of lab-based classes, and they’ll develop portfolio-quality projects that will enable them to market their digital skills to future employers.

The digital media minor enhances many career paths, including business, marketing/advertising, public relations, education, corporate communications, television and film production, radio and music production, theater and visual arts.
