For returning residents, our room selection process for Fall 2024 kicks off on Monday, January 22. There is no separate housing deposit.

January 22 – February 4: All current residents MUST begin their 2024-2025 application in the housing portal. This includes submitting a housing intention, and (if returning to housing) forming room- and suitemate groups.

February 5 – 11: Same Hall/Same Room Selection (for current residents in Anniversary, Petrik, Terzo and Quarto)

February 19 – 25: Open Room Selection (rising seniors)

March 11 – 17: Open Room Selection (rising juniors)

March 18 –24: Open Room Selection (rising sophomores)
Time slots will be assigned according to classification by credit hours. Students who do not begin their housing application by February 5 may experience delays in the room selection process, including a delayed/late time slot.
Additionally, students who do not complete room selection by the end of their designated selection period will have their time slots rescheduled for the week of March 25.
Housing Exception Applications
Current residents who wish to apply for a housing exception to live off campus should consult the Residential Living Policy for the guidelines and forms.
Here are the dates for our Fall 2024 housing exception application process:

January 22 – 28: Applications for Fall 2024 housing exceptions should be submitted in the housing portal.

January 29 – February 2: Housing Exception applications reviewed

February 2: Exception decisions will be sent to students via email by 5 pm.

February 11: Exception appeals due

February 16: Appeal responses will be sent to students via email by 5 pm.
After 1/28, exception applications can still be submitted in the housing portal; and they will be reviewed on an ongoing basis. Students who submit housing exception applications after 1/28 are also encouraged to still participate in room selection, in the event that their exception application is not approved.
