What should I submit with my application?
The application materials vary by program. However, most graduate programs require the following:
- Completed online application at: Apply Now
- Recommendation form(s)
- Official transcripts from each college or university attended mailed directly to Bellarmine University
- GRE or GMAT score (if required by the program)
- International students must provide proof of English proficiency and a third-party course by course transcript evaluation.
- The Office of Graduate Admission and the individual program department reserve the right to request additional information or a personal interview. Please note admission to an individual department or school is determined by the department or school and not the Office of Graduate Admission. Who should complete recommendation forms for me?
You should select the person(s) recommending you carefully. You should ask someone who can speak to your ability to perform academically. Typically, these are written by a work supervisor, former professor or colleague.
Do I need to submit an official transcript from each college and university I have attended?
Yes. Each applicant is asked to submit an official transcript from each college or university attended (mailed directly from the college or university attended) to Bellarmine. This includes institutions at which only one or two courses were taken. Submit final, official transcripts to Bellarmine University, Office of Student Recruitment and Admission, 2001 Newburg Road, Louisville, KY 40205 (unless otherwise directed by PTCAS or Nursing CAS application instructions).
What is the definition of an official transcript?
An official transcript is one that is mailed directly from the institution to Bellarmine University and is not marked "Issued to Student".
How much is the application fee?
There are no fees for applications submitted through Bellarmine's application portal. Application fees vary if the program requires an application through the Centralized Application Service.
How much is tuition?

How do I get financial aid?
All graduate and second degree students are encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The Bellarmine school code is 001954. If my employer has a tuition reimbursement policy, what do I need to do?
If your employer has a tuition reimbursement policy, please contact them directly to see what is needed for the company/organization to assist with funding your advanced degree. Bellarmine University does have a tuition deferral plan and our Student Accounts Office will assist you with completing the necessary paperwork. The Student Accounts Office can be reached at 502.272.8264.
When will classes start?
All graduate and second degree programs start at various times during the year. Bellarmine University is on a 15 week semester schedule for the fall and spring. Summer classes are shorter in length based on the number of hours and the class meeting dates and times. The Career Development staff connects students, alumni, employers and the community through jobs, internships and volunteer work. Services include personal assessment, career exploration, educational planning and leadership development. Bellarmine faculty and staff also help individuals pursue opportunities for experiential learning, professional employment, career advancement and transition.
