Are you curious how to improve your success in college and beyond? One of the major building blocks to success is to get involved strategically by developing a set of experiences that build a trajectory toward the meaningful work you want to do in the world one day. These experiences also serve to help students in career discernment along the way.

Opportunities abound on campus and in the surrounding Louisville community for students interested in environmental and social issues.

Campus Environmental Events

The Environmental Studies Department hosts a wide array of environmental events, such as invasive species removal, farm workdays, career development workshops, environmental justice tours of Louisville, and the Sustainability Speaker Series.

Learning Communities

Our Terra Learning Community is a program designed for any student in environmental disciplines or demonstrating exceptional interest in sustainability. The Terra Learning Community is a supportive community that combines coursework in sustainability with environmentally conscious living and co-curricular community engagement toward environmental responsibility. Contact the director, Prof. Beth Henley Bell (bbell@bellarmine.edu), for more information.
