Become a leader in Nursing Education

Why earn your MSN at Bellarmine?

Our Nursing Education track prepares professional nurses to function as beginning nurse educators. This may be in the area of staff development, health education, or preparation of nursing students. Selected teaching, clinical, and evidence-based practice experiences in various settings provide the student with the opportunity to function as a nurse educator. Practica must be completed in nursing education.

Program Highlights

The program is fully online and is ideal for students with professional or personal obligations during the typical work week. Most courses will also offer once per-semester optional class meetings which will be available by recorded video as well. Most students complete two courses per semester and finish the program in two years.

Nicolette, Baines

“This program and the faculty taught me more than how to integrate evidence-based practice methods at the bedside or how to collaborate with interdisciplinary team members. I was provided a tremendous foundation to elevate myself as a nurse, as a team member, as a leader, and as an individual who can evoke change. I am so glad that I chose to attend Bellarmine University to take my career to the next level!”

Nicolette Baines, MSN, RNC-OB; System Educator, Obstetrics; Norton Healthcare Institute for Nursing
