Creation of the Valor Learning Community
The OMVS is excited to announce the creation of the Valor Learning Community (VLC) for military and veteran students, beginning Fall 2021! The community is for first-year and transfer Active Duty, National Guard, Selected Reserves, and veteran students. To meet the needs of our military-affiliated students,
we have created unique courses and programs designed to encourage overall academic success and camaraderie building. Students will take courses together and participate in extra curricular activities that focus on establishing community and translating the skills gained from their military experience into successful academic and career paths. We feel that the VLC will enhance the academic experience of our military-affiliated students by exemplifying the strengths they bring to our campus. Bellarmine creates Center of Excellence for Veteran Student Success
The Department of Education has awarded Bellarmine University a 3-year, $390,000 grant to develop a Center of Excellence for Veteran Student Success.
