Interested students should possess a bachelor’s degree with the equivalent of a course in elementary statistics or comparable academic or professional skills as determined by the MBA Director. Applicants will provide a completed application form, two letters of recommendation and an essay describing how they expect this certificate to enhance their career options. A GMAT, GRE or other comparable graduate entrance exam is required for those with less than seven years full-time work experience. In cases where one’s previous academic or work experience using scientific or mathematical methods is unclear (as decided by MBA Director), we will require the GMAT regardless of years of work experience.
Note: If an Applied Business Analytics Certificate student wishes to pursue the MBA at any point, he or she will be required to apply separately to the MBA program. Successfully completed MBA analytics courses will subsequently be applied to the MBA degree upon acceptance to the MBA program.
The W. Fielding Rubel School of Business at Bellarmine University is accredited by the AACSB International (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), which places it among the elite business schools in the nation. Not only is Bellarmine the first and only private university in Kentucky to achieve AACSB accreditation, but fewer than 5 percent of business schools worldwide have achieved this distinction.
