Health and Safety

Bellarmine University values the safety of its entire campus community, but has a special burden to make provisions for the safety, health and comfort of its student population. The freedom to learn in a healthy and safe environment is of paramount importance. The information below offers a snapshot of the many initiatives and opportunities put in place by Bellarmine to ensure both health and safety.

Safety and Security Reports

Bellarmine University complies with the federal Jeanne Clery Act, which requires all institutions in the United States that participate in federal aid programs to produce a Campus Safety and Security Report on an annual basis. Bellarmine's annual report is sent to all current students and employees by October 1 of each year. It contains detailed information about crimes reported on campus and the University's security protocols and policies.

The Office of Public Safety is located in Room 054 of Centro Treece Hall. The Office (the Public Safety Coordinator or Director) will assist prospective or enrolled students in obtaining school security policies and crime statistics.
