Alice Kimble, RN, BSN, MS, PhD
Director, Office of Health Services
Dr. Alice Kimble (known in the campus community as “Nurse Alice”) has been with Bellarmine since 1998. She has a Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology and a PhD in Educational Leadership. Before college health, her experience included critical care, emergency, and cardiac rehab. She is married to Steve McMillen, a wildlife biologist, and her daughter, Abrayah McMillen, is currently a student at Bellarmine. They live on a farm in Breckinridge County. In her free time, she works hard to give her the chickens the luxurious lives they deserve in exchange for a few eggs.
Dr. Leanne Coleman
Dr. Coleman has been with the Bellarmine Office of Health Services since 2020 through Norton Healthcare and is a Provider at Norton Immediate Care as well. She has her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Eastern Michigan University and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Kentucky. She has a daughter, Elise, who is currently a student at IUS. She also has a dog named Evie. She loves to do anything outdoors. Originally from Michigan, she has lived in the Louisville area for 11 years. She currently lives in Henryville, Indiana.
Dr. Chris Webb
Dr. Chris Webb is an Assistant Professor at Bellarmine and has been full-time faculty since 2015. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Bellarmine in 2007, Family Nurse Practitioner at Vanderbilt University in 2011, and the Doctor of Nursing Practice from Bellarmine in 2019. Dr. Webb spent many years in the Medical ICU at Vanderbilt as a bedside nurse and management and continues to work at Vanderbilt as a nurse practitioner caring for the Liver Transplant Population. He also has experience working as a nurse practitioner with the HIV community in Louisville. He is married to a Jefferson County Public School Elementary Teacher and has two elementary-aged sons, Jaxon and Jaden. To escape from the stress of life, Dr. Webb loves reality TV.
Leslie Leffler, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC
Leslie Leffler has been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2011 after obtaining her Master’s of Science in Nursing at the University of Southern Indiana (Evansville). She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Kentucky in 1999. She is currently a doctoral student here at Bellarmine and has clinical experience as a nurse practitioner in primary care practice and specialty practice, with experience as a registered nurse in critical care, perioperative nursing, gastrointestinal endoscopy, and ambulatory care. She participates in an annual medical mission, taking a group of students (including FNP students) to care for patients in Santiago, Dominican Republic each summer. She and her husband have four young adult children who keep them very busy but are tons of fun! She enjoys the outdoors, especially fishing.
